‘Jatadhara’ release date: Fans of Telugu cinema have something big to look forward to this November. Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu are all set to light up the screens in the highly anticipated film ‘Jatadhara’, which will release on November 7, 2025, in both Telugu and Hindi.
The announcement came on Monday, alongside a motion poster.

Sonakshi herself shared the poster on her Instagram, writing, “From the depths of darkness the divine rises. #Jatadhara in theatres from Nov 7th 2025 in Telugu & Hindi #JatadharaOnNOV7 #Awakeningbegins.”

According to the makers, ‘Jatadhara’ is a grand story of good versus evil, light versus darkness, and human will versus cosmic destiny.
Directors Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal shared that the story is inspired by a folk tale. They said it will take audiences on a journey where darkness clashes with divine power, confronting humans with the forces of God.
“It’s a story of faith, fear, and cosmic destiny,” they added.
Fans have already got a glimpse of the film through the official teaser, released back in August. Lasting one minute and twelve seconds, the teaser introduces Sudheer Babu as a character “born from sacrifice”, while Sonakshi appears in a never-before-seen mystical avatar, described as “created by greed.”
Sonakshi’s look in the teaser has been a major talking point. She appears in a dark, magical form with flowing long hair and intricately designed ornaments, showcasing a side of her that fans haven’t seen before.
On the professional front, Sonakshi Sinha recently appeared in the horror drama ‘Nikita Roy’, which hit theatres on July 18, 2025.
